Founded in 2015 by Francesco Ragazzi, an Italian art director and photographer and former artistic director at Moncler, Palm Angels is a high-end fashion brand from Italy. The brand, which is part of the New Guards Group, has engaged in partnerships with notable names like Moncler Genius, Playboi Carti, BBC Ice Cream, Under Armour, and Clarks.

Originating from Ragazzi’s photographic exploration of the Los Angeles skateboarding culture, detailed in a Rizzoli-published book with contributions from Pharrell Williams, Palm Angels was conceptualized in Paris at the Colette store. The brand is known for blending American cultural influences with Italian craftsmanship, offering collections marked by relaxed and refined elements. The official launch was in 2014, leading to its first fashion line in the fall and winter of 2015, with new collections introduced biannually.

Palm Angels has an extensive history of collaborations, including projects with Suicoke and Sundek in 2017 and a venture with Vlone in 2018 to create a special range of hoodies. That same year, it collaborated with Playboi Carti on a unique capsule collection, which featured various apparel items adorned with the “Palm Angels Die Punk” logo.

Further collaborations saw Palm Angels partnering with BBC Ice Cream, presented at The Webster NY, and venturing into the hospitality sector with Setai Miami during Art Basel 2019. Its Fall Winter 2020 collection debuted in New York, highlighting the collaboration of Palm Angels x C. & Clarks.

Most recently, in 2023, Palm Angels aligned with the Haas F1 Team, influencing the aesthetic of their garages and race suits while also integrating their brand into the team’s car designs.
